Mantra Monday 6.19.2017

This weeks Mantra Monday is going to return to the basics.

It’s basic in its simplicity but so freaking hard to master.

We all go through our ups and downs, and let’s be honest, our own worst critic is ourselves. We wouldn’t dream of saying half the things we say to ourselves to our family, friends or even strangers.

We have to be kinder to ourselves and more gracious and soft with our own words, so for the next week, just repeat this affirmation and remind yourself how freaking amazing you are!

Thank you Diana at PaperYarnMoon for our oh so kick butt image ;-D

Love and Light my radiant sun beams!

Forgiveness is usually easier said than done and it’s even harder when it comes to ourselves. I am here to tell you you can and should forgive yourself for whatever you feel guilty or negatively about. Sometimes the smallest things and the shortest moments can hold so much unnecessary space in our heart that is makes us hard to move forward in our lives.

We are all guilty of sitting in our beds at 1 am and thinking about those moments that happened years ago, those conversations where you wished you would of said or acted differently or moments that you wished never happen…FORGIVE YOURSELF! Literally take this moment and say “I Forgive Myself and Set Myself Free”. Release whatever is holding you back and holding you down and press forward. Accept all the good things coming your way and open yourself to the gifts of the universe.

Thank you Diana at PaperYarnMoon for the absolutely GORGEOUS image (I think this one may be my favorite!).

Mantra Monday 4.17.2017

“Happiness is my Path” and is chose it daily.

This Mantra is an especially powerful one and one we should all apply to our lives.  We all have the right to be happy in our present life times. Happiness is the soul’s way of saying “Yes, do more of this, this is elevating us”.

Keep track of things that are healthy that keep us happy and write it down. Look at it regularly and, not only be grateful for it, but do it more often!

Pick happiness every time!

Thank you Diana at PaperYarnMoon for the love and putting our affirmation into this beautiful image.

Mantra Monday 3.27.2017

Good Morning my Beautiful friends.

Yes, it is Monday already and it means another Mantra Monday. I realize the bulk of my blog posts are Mantra Mondays but why not? These are so much flipping fun!

Today I was listening to a podcast talking about how many of those on a “spiritual path” often actively chose happiness while consciously ignoring what many consider negative feelings thus ignoring a potential life lesson from your soul or even ignoring what could be a serious problem in your current lifetime.

This is my take on it, we all have a choice whether to walk around in a positive mood or a bad mood. I, personally make an effort to focus on the positives in my life BUT (this is a big BUT), I am always aware of what makes me upset, sad, angry and I analyze and think about why something or someone does not vibe with me (or just plain piss me off). I am conscious of it and while we are at it, we need these things we don’t agree with, in our lives. It give us a chance to learn about ourselves and helps us place a marker on our values. How can you do this? Look at what offends you and then ask yourself WHY it offends you. Get uncomfortable, squirm a bit and dig. Its these situations that really define you as an individual and creates clarity into who you truly are.

Digging can bring up some major shit. Hold that piece up, analyze it, smell it (yeah…gross right!), poke around a little, maybe even give it a little taste, then say thank you to it for helping you learn something about yourself and toss it in the potty and flush. Wash you hands! Cleanse yourself, acknowledge how you feel and why and then say to yourself “I deserve Happiness and Love”, because you absolutely do. In this lifetime, at this present moment, you deserve happiness and love, no matter where you have come from or where you are going. That poop you just looked at should not have a hold over how you are feeling. It may have helped shaped who you are today but it does not control you. You are worthy of all the positive experiences that are coming your way. You DESERVE Happiness and Love no matter what!

So, yes, I decide to actively choose happiness and love but I know I have some shit to learn from.

Thank you Diana at PaperYarnMoon for the beautiful artwork. Lets make this your Mantra for the week everyone.

Mantra Monday 3.6.2017

Today’s Mantra Monday plays on last week’s affirmation pretty well : “I release anything that doesn’t serve me” (if you missed last week’s mantra, you can check it out here).

Ask yourself the question “What am I keeping around that does not serve me?” Look around you? Try and spot 3 things in the room right now. I can tell you from where I am sitting, there is a coffee cup that has been sitting here since yesterday, I have a mountain of receipts that I emptied out from my purse this morning just sitting here and I can spot a few empty bottles of essential oils that I will probably never need. And just like that I cleared a little space in my environment. Now, if I am so pressed, I’m sure I can go into my newsfeed on FB and clear out groups and acquaintances that I really don’t need to hold space for. They clog up my feed and really serve more of an unnecessary distraction.

Release it and clear it. Old wounds and memories as well. They help mold us into who we are, but we don’t need to carry this load daily. Meditate over whatever situation you feel you are holding on to so tight and release it. Burning Palo Santo during meditation helps clear up blockages that you hold in your chakras too, so if you have some, give it a try. Repeating this mantra during meditation can also assist your brain to subconsciously work in moving past some of these blockages. This is one reason I love Mala necklaces with 108 beads, they help keep count and allows me to hit that magic number (Why is 108 a magic number? Check out this link for more info).

I hope these past couple of weeks helps you in releasing what no longer serves you.

Thank you Paper Yarn Moon for putting our mantra’s into art.

Love and Light Always,

Mantra Monday 2.27.2017

Good Morning to you all and Happy Monday. As you know, its our Mantra Monday and I cannot wait to share it with you.

This is a great one and one I have been working on this past month and quite possibly the next. It’s all about letting things go that no longer serve me. Its all about quitting cords and ties that are of zero benefit to you and quite possibly even deplete you.

Cutting ties is sometimes easier said than done. Trust me, I am the queen of holding on to things, from clothes that I swear I will fit into by summer, to emails from retailers that have discount codes that I maybe will use later, acquaintances on FB that I really don’t talk to, and I also may be guilty of holding on to a LOT of crystals (but I’m not counting those…you can’t have too many crystals!)

But serisoulsy, do I need to hold on to so many friends on FB? Some even include ex boyfriends that I remained friendly with but literally NEVER talked to, not even the occasional like on the picture. So why do I have these people? Because sometimes I have trouble letting go. Why? I really don’t know. Perhaps it has to do with my childhood and growing up poor. I’m not sure but I do know that it is time to let go. Remove the junk, all the extra that no longer serve me. Get rid of clothes that I no longer wear and the biggest one is to STOP holding space for people that don’t deserve it because it brings down on your own vibrations. We have to remember to love ourselves.

So, what is our Mantra this week? “The more I let go, the better I feel” and boy do you ever. Release all the old that doesn’t serve you and stop holding space for the junk.

One thing you can do for those strong emotional cords that connect you to people you no longer wish to be attached to (trust me, the connection works both ways), imagine a physical cord connecting you and this person and imagine giant scissors cutting these cords and releasing this bond. If you need to physically use your fingers and pretend to cut (I do this), do it! Once you are done, thank the universe AND yourself and take a moment for yourself to replenish. I personally like to take a shower or bath and then have a nice cup of tea, show myself a little love.

As always, thank you Diana over at PaperYarnMoon for the beautiful art work.

Mantra Monday 2.13.2017

Beautiful Day to all you Beautiful Souls.

It’s Monday you know for us Monday’s mean “Mantra Monday”. I do love our Mondays.

With Valentine’s Day creeping slowly creeping up on us (enter horror shriek here), I wanted to take a moment to remind ourselves, not only to spread love, but to love ourselves too.

For  many of us, it is so gratifying to send love to those we love, to shower them with gifts, love an affection, but we often times forget about ourselves. We have to remember that if our cups our empty, we cannot fill anothers, so take this week to LOVE yourself. Honor yourself and fill your cup.

Therefore, our mantra for this week is “I honor myself and my needs”.

I encourage you to take all the time you need to make sure your needs are met. Don’t go outside of yourself either by expecting your significant other to buy you flowers, simply go out and buy them yourself. Want a gift, gift it yourself.(Check out our stuff too :-D) . Don’t limit yourself to materials things either, a long bath with essential oils, an few hours with your nose in your book or a whole day dedicated to painting, music, or just simply an entire day of binge watching Netflix. Whatever you feel will fill you up, go do it. You have permission from your higher self and the universe looks forward to it.

Thank you Didi over at PaperYarnMoon for always putting our words into art.

Love and Light always,

Mantra Monday 2.6.2017

Good Morning my beautiful souls. As you may have noticed, our Mantra Monday is a bit late this week. **Warning, this blog post is going to get REAL**.

It’s been a pretty hectic week for me personally as I try to balance my home life and business life. I feel sometimes that as I am drowning in laundry, dishes and dog poop (for some reason my doggies have decided to take the living room as their personal toilet) and in between homeschooling my 4 year old (which she is currently practicing writing her letters while I type this) and then somehow remembering to love myself all while showing love to everyone else, sometimes my cup runs dry, so flipping dry. Oh, and did I forget to mention I am working on my official Crystal Reiki Master/Teacher certification. And of course, I worry, I worry how I will be able to get new supplies in when I can’t find the time to post up what I have to sell. Oh yeah, we also moved about a month ago to a new home and you already know the amount of boxes in our home is insane!

Compared to other problems, my shit is easy. I am grateful for the life I live and what I am able to do, but it doesn’t take away that it is tiresome and exhausting at times and that is okay. I always trust that the universe will provide exactly what I need when I need it and this is my affirmation for the week. ” Everything I need comes to me at Exactly the Right Time”.

The universe has definitely blessed me this week with an unexpected financial gift which I am so grateful for and just like that, the supplies that needed to be purchased were ordered. I know its difficult to trust that what you need will be provided for and learning to trust is a challenge in itself but I invite you to give it a try this week and put it out into the universe and ask for exactly what you need.

Now, Ill be off working on some more gooodies while I wait for the dryer and my daughter finishes working on her alphabet.

Thank you Didi over at PaperYarnMoon for our picture this week.

Love and Light always,

Mantra Monday 1.23.2017

This weeks Mantra seems simple enough but definitely a difficult one for many of us to accept. For whatever the reason, many of us sometimes, for lack of a better term, get stuck on a sort of daily routine and literally forget to stop and keep space for ourselves.

I am very blessed to be a part of a strong female tribe and just last week, I was reminded to cut the chords that no longer serve me and hold space for the most important person in my life….me.  If I am not 100% functional and at my best, I am doing a disservice to those that need me the most, for example my family.

One of the ways I honor myself, is by allowing and accepting all the blessings the universe has coming my way. I open myself of to the gifts that , not only I am manifesting, but that my higher self has called for my own good. I am shifting myself into a higher vibrational place and “I accept all the blessings that are coming my way”. That is my mantra for the week! Use your Mala Necklace, use it during meditation or simply say it over and over until you fall asleep at night. Open yourself and be grateful for all the blessings you have and will have.

For this mantra/affirmation, I suggest using your clear Quartz. Meditate with your piece and keep it near you for the week.

As always, Paper Yarn Moon has created a beautiful image for this weeks Mantra. Feel free to share or save on your phone and keep it as a reminder for the week.

Many blessings to all of you and see you next time.

Passive Ways to Cleanse and Charge your Crystals

I am surprised there is so much information out there in the Crystal world on how to cleanse and charge your crystals. There is a lot of ways to keep your crystals in top working order and there are a LOT more ways on how these “cleansing” ways can totally mess up and majorly damage your piece!

I’ll provide a quick info graphic here on some passive ways, but let me take this moment to tell you HOW you can damage your stones.

WATER: As a general rule of thumb, any crystal or stone that ends in “-ite” are usually hydrophobic, so keep it away from water. Some examples of crystals that can’t be put in water include: Selenite, Calcite, Labradorite, Kyanite, Fire Opal, Carnelian, Angelite, Kunzite, and Turquoise to name a few.

DIRECT SUNLIGHT: Many “experts” claim that by laying out crystals in the direct sunlight, it can cleanse the crystal of love vibing energy. Now, while this is true, there are MANY crystals that should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Why? Well, the color will start to fade after prolonged exposure. Why the crystal will still provide it’s healing benefits, it won’t have it’s natural and sometimes sought after look. For example, Amethyst will go from a dark purple, to faded purple, to lavender and sometimes go completely white. Be mindful of stones you put in direct sunlight.

BURYING IN THE EARTH: Some pieces LOVE being recharged in the earth, others, not so much. The humidity in the earth can expose and exasperate already naturally occurring inclusions making them more fragile and brittle, such as Carnelian.

Feel free to save this quick infographic on a few passive ways to cleanse and charge your babies.

Love and Light,
